Q: At what location is the Albers Aerospace Engineering Internship conducted?
A: Although Albers Aerospace has teammates working around the country and in several other countries, our internship is conducted at our McKinney, Texas headquarters.

Q: When and how long is the internship?
A: The internship is conducted during the summer and runs 12 weeks (June-August).

Q: From what fields of study are most interns selected?
A: While most of our previous interns have been aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering majors, we will consider applicants from any engineering or physics degree program.

Q: What can I expect to learn and to work on during this internship?
A: Albers Aerospace supports partners in many technical fields, including avionics, advanced jet engines, lasers, advanced teaming, and unmanned systems. You can expect to be exposed to several different programs, with an emphasis on model-based systems engineering applications.

Q: Is this a paid internship and will housing be provided?
A: Interns will receive $25 per hour and can expect to log 8 hours per day, five days a week, during the internship. Housing is not provided, but rooms at a reasonable rate are available at The University of Texas at Dallas.

Q: When are interns selected?
A: Candidates are requested to apply no later than 20 October. Selections will be announced on mid-December.
