Gordon retired from the Raytheon Technologies corporation in 2022 after 39 years serving USG Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. Gordon earned the highest engineering honors as a Principal Engineering Fellow during his career for technical contributions and leadership. He also earned the Executive Director role for leadership of a multi-billion dollar portfolio of domestic defense programs. Within his portfolio, USG contracts covered basic and applied research, advanced development, Quick Reaction Capability, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Low-Rate and Full-Rate Production, and worldwide Sustainment efforts.
During his tenure with RTX he served a variety of ever-increasing roles of responsibility and authority. His roles spanned product engineering design and analysis, systems engineering, internal research and development management, program chief engineering, business unit chief engineering, program management, business strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, business development and leading competitive capture programs. Gordon received numerous awards and recognitions during his career for Leadership, Innovation, Program Management, Quality, Six Sigma, and Business Development.
Gordon received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri Science and Technology University, and he earned his Master of Engineering from Texas Tech University. Gordon serves as the Director of Finance and strategic advisor for Choose To Soar Ministries (CTS), Inc a Women’s non-profit public charity, and he serves as a strategic advisor to the Joint Service Special Operations Fund (JSSOF) charity supporting members of the United States Special Operations Community. Gordon resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and has one daughter.
