Rich Carter is the Chief Revenue Officer of Albers Aerospace Holdings LLC. The company is headquartered in the Dallas area and is comprised of Three Business Units: (1) Industrials (2) Innovation(3) Defense.
Rich is responsible for leading a dedicated team of professionals, supporting closely, both internal and external customers, to deliver vital solutions for the Warfighter. Rich leads the revenue generation process and is accountable for driving the integration and alignment between strategy, marketing, business development, customer relationships, and P&L areas to drive keep sold/follow on initiatives and new business growth.
Albers Aerospace supports a vast customer set, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, international partners, and commercial entities. Due to our team’s experiences, we have extensive knowledge of mission, problem sets, and customer needs.
Rich has over 20 years of experience delivering above target results in executive leadership, business development, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, program management, and electrical/systems/data engineering across various customer bases. Rich defines success by his team’s and customers’ successes. Due to that, his leadership style is based on trust, integrity, and transparency by emphasizing partnerships and relationships, not customer/vendor transactions. Rich is driven to motivate and inspire others to share this same passion for our mission sets and customers.
Rich was previously Vice President at MAG Aerospace where he led Business Development and Operations for the C5S business Unit focused on Professional Services, Data Driven Analytics, JADC2, EW/Cyber, and ISR for customers in the iC community, JSOC/SOCOM, 5 Eyes/NATO/International, and the DoD Community. Prior to MAG, Rich held executive P&L and business development roles with other leading aerospace and defense organizations such as Lockheed Martin and Sierra Nevada Corporation.
From Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Rich holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and a Masters of Science with a concentration in Technical Management from Stony Brook University. Rich is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with Project Management Institute.
